Development of the knowledge agenda Optometry
Aim
The aim of this project is to develop an Optometry knowledge agenda that bundles current and practice-relevant knowledge gaps and prioritizes them together with patients. The OVN knowledge agenda provides direction for the further professionalization of optometry and for expanding, deepening, and applying scientific knowledge within the field.
Themes
The OVN knowledge agenda will focus on themes such as early detection of eye diseases, prevention, appropriate use of diagnostics and treatment, collaboration within the eye care chain, and the use of technology. It provides direction for the most important themes within the field of optometry that require further scientific research and contributes to the completion of the quality cycle.
