Integra

Telerehabilitation (TR) is a promising opportunity to address unmet rehabilitation needs of persons with disability living in the community, but its uptake in the EU remains hindered by infrastructural, regulatory, technological and socio-cultural barriers.  

Aims 

INTEGRA aims to strengthen the primary and community care (PCC) system of EU citizens, by co-creating a scalable TR ecosystem that incorporates a benchmarking of best practices by a multidimensional EU knowledge base, analysis of patient’s journey in different local ecosystems, stakeholder engagement, service modelling and sustainable technologies.  

(Expected) results 

The developed knowledge base will allow analysis and promote the interchange of best practices, contributing to improving the quality of care in TR services across the EU. End-user are expected to benefit from INTEGRA, in functioning, participation and quality of life (QoL) and in QoL of their caregivers.
