Opschaling van gezondheidsinnovaties voor digitale zelfzorg in de Europese eerstelijnszorg
Urinary incontinence and dizziness are common conditions that greatly impact the daily lives of millions of people across Europe. Yet many struggle to find appropriate care, due to shame, lack of awareness, or long waiting times.
Aims
In this project, we aim to make two proven digital self-management tools – the URinControl app and Vertigo Training – accessible to many more people in the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Sweden, to help users reduce their symptoms independently and offer a low-threshold alternative to costly and demanding healthcare. The project is carried out in close collaboration with patients, healthcare providers, and policymakers to ensure the tools fit well into each country’s care system.
(Expected) results
We expect this to lead to improved health, greater self management, and reduced pressure on GPs and specialists.. We will also develop a roadmap to support the sustainable introduction of effective digital health solutions across Europe
