Molecular deconstruction of memory T lymphocytes in health and disease
T cellen gebruiken hun geheugen om snel bacteriën en virussen, maar ook tumorcellen te vernietigen. Bij ziekten als astma en kanker functioneren deze geheugencellen niet goed meer. De onderzoekers gaan met een moleculair vergrootglas op zoek naar de oorzaak van dit ontspoorde geheugen om nieuwe aanknopingspunten voor therapieën te vinden.
