Targeting the Mesenchymal Cancer Cell Phenotype for Therapeutic Gain

De meeste kankerpatiënten gaan dood aan kwaadaardige uitzaaiingen, of doordat de patiënten ongevoelig zijn geworden voor chemotherapie. In dit project streven we ernaar om bestaande medicijnen een herbestemming te geven in dat deze selectief het gedrag van agressieve kankercellen veranderd naar niet-invasieve en therapiegevoelige kankercellen of in goedaardige vetcellen.
