It is still unclear exactly how lifestyle factors, including diet, affect our health and the development of diseases. Why do some people contract a particular condition, whilst others do not? The environment we live in certainly plays an important role here, but genetic characteristics are also key. Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life (HDHL) is funding research projects aimed at preventing diet… - There is insufficient knowledge on the impact of school closures during a pandemic. A school closure can have a major impact on students, and therefore influence society and the economy in the longer term. The PRESENT-consortium is therefore mapping the diverse effects of secondary and MBO school closures. This will allow us to better advise and make decisions during future pandemics.

How do we make sure that a healthy choice is also an easy choice for the consumer? It is important that we better understand factors that influence dietary choices, eating habits and physical activity.
