How can AI-driven early detection contribute to early recognition of infection hotspots in the Netherlands and prevent disruptive epidemics? Two Dutch research groups and industry will jointly develop animal-free innovations via the ZonMw call Create2Solve. Over the next five years, the projects will focus on a 3D model of human brain cells and a better test method for potentially toxic substances. - This project aims to evaluate and implement these digital preventative tools across various healthcare settings and communities to significantly improve the early identification of individuals at clinical high risk for psychosis and the assessment of associated health risks.
- Current serology for tick-borne diseases (TOAs) is not yet sufficient to prevent TOAs and to understand exposure in humans and animals. Improving serology will improve early detection and treatment of TOA and may reduce the burden of disease.
