ZonMw is offering 15 talented researchers the opportunity to do innovative research outside traditional frameworks. With a grant from the Off Road programme, they get the opportunity to further develop their out-of-the-box idea or hypothesis during one to one and a half years.
Researchers from Science (ENW | 57), Applied and Engineering Sciences (AES | 15), Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH | 54), and Health Research and Development (ZonMw | 23) receive Vidi grants. This enables the laureates to develop an innovative line of research over the next 5 years and further expand their research group.
In the ZonMw Open Competition 2024 round, a total of 29 research teams have been selected to receive funding from a total budget of €24 million. This funding enables the research groups to develop innovative team science initiatives that contribute to the long-term advancement of fundamental (bio)medical science and healthcare.
